Cadnaa noise modelling software#
Military and civilian helicopter noise CadnaA is world-leading, state-of-the-art software for modeling, calculation and assessment of environmental noise.Noise from marine operations and ports.

The modeling is based on estimates for dispersion of noise in free field by mean of numerical simulations which give as results approximate values for the noise levels, regardless of source type (point, line or area).

Major highways and roads in Queensland and New South Wales, to model noise emissions from a wide range of sources that might be present at industrial areas and urban areas. It was assumed that each of the road would first be modelled in a simplified manner thus it would be represented by one linear source (axis) and described by the total traffic volume on the road. Sporting venues and activities including skateparks, racing tracks, arenas 2.3.4 The method of road noise sources modelling CadnaA software was used for the preparation of geometric and computational models of the examined sources of road noise.Residential apartments, and sub-divisions.Major pipeline proposals in Northern Territory and Queensland.Waste transfer stations and landfill sites.Examples of our broad experience in noise modelling includes: Our experience in noise modelling encompasses all commercial and industry sectors, as well as numerous residential, medical and sporting proposals. CadnaA uses powerful calculation algorithms, has extensive tools for object handling, offers outstanding 3D visualisation and the ability to import a range of standard drawing and image formats to provide enhanced presentation of noise modelling results and noise contours.

The software implements more than 30 international standards and guidelines for noise assessment. The CadnaA software in particular provides ANE with a powerful analytical tool for a range of planning, development and infrastructure projects. We operate a range of acoustic software packages including Cadna/A and ENM for environmental and source noise prediction, INM (aircraft noise modelling) and Odeon for internal noise modelling of sound quality, speech intelligibility and noise breakout. Sophisticated computer modelling tools allow for the accurate prediction and design of acoustic control measures. Often, we complete computational modelling in conjunction with monitoring of existing or representative existing noise sources, to allow analysis of a range of scenarios, operating conditions and meteorological influences. Computational noise modelling is a tool that can be used to predict noise impacts, determine acoustic construction requirements and assess sound quality (such as reverberation or echo) and speech intelligibility.
